Emit

A speaker plays a signal pitched above the range of human hearing. A till, a turnstile, a TV spot, a phone — anything with a speaker can send.

Carry

The signal moves through the air like any other sound. It needs no internet, no Bluetooth pairing, no NFC chip and no line of sight.

A nearby microphone decodes it on the device itself, offline, and hands your app a payload it can act on immediately.
